With more than 40 years of experience, Providence House is recognized as a national leader in keeping kids safe and families together. We consult nurseries in other states on best-practice operations and procedures as well as public policy issues and regularly present at national conferences.
CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF, the accrediting body establishes standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
In March 2025, CARF awarded 3-year accreditation to Providence House, saying “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served.”
