Great Lakes Brewing Company’s annual summer Christmas Ale tapping will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23!

The brewery will brew up a batch of the seasonal favorite ale, and the brewpub will serve a pig-roast menu beginning at 4 p.m. DJ Red-I will spin tunes from 6 to 9 p.m. Scott’s Haul’s toy drive will accept donations benefiting Providence House. Guests can donate unwrapped gifts (see the wishlist at provhouse.org/wishlist).

The ale will be on draft only. Some kegs will be available for preorder at the gift shop. Then, at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, a Brews & Bites pairing will be held in collaboration with Brewnuts. Four 5-ounce beers – including Barrel Aged Christmas Ale – will be paired with four specially crafted mini-doughnuts and a glass to take home. Cost is $40. Go to greatlakesbrewing.com.
